TREMONTI UPDATE  

Tour dates are finally starting to emerge for a fall Tremonti tour.  After two shows in September, Tremonti will embark on the HardDrive Live Tour with special guest Man the Mighty.  So far nine dates have been announced and more announcements are coming soon.  Tickets go on sale August 17.  Keep an eye out for the launch of the HardDrive Live Tour site to launch.  Also, check your local radio stations and MarkTremonti.com for upcoming contests.

Mark recently sat down with Fuse to discuss the Tremonti Project and you can check it out here.  Mark talks about how the project came together, his influences, and the possibility of some covers and AB/Creed songs finding their way into the setlist of the upcoming Tremonti tour.

MUSIC NEWS  

Three Days Grace has released their new single entitled “Chalk Outline” today and also will begin selling preorders of their new album Transit of Venus.  The band has brought in a new producer, Don Gilmore (Linkin Park, Hollywood Undead, Bullet For My Valentine) and it’s definitely evident in the sound of this song.  You can check out a streaming version of the song here.

Slipknot has announced that fans who cannot make KnotFest this year will be able to stream the concert live in a pay per view fashion.  In addition to seeing the concert in real time, fans will be able to pause, rewind, and re-watch the concert at their convenience over the next thirty days.  There will also be interviews and bonus content to check out.  A trailer Slipknot is calling “The Road to Knotfest” can be seen here.

Guns N Roses will be taking over the Las Vegas Strip this fall.  The band has announced that they will be taking up residency at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino playing 12 shows starting on October 31.
